Shelby announces funding for Madison County airport
Sen. Richard Shelby has announced that Madison County Airport has received a $822,917 grant to provide funds to extend the runway. The project will provide funds to purchase approximately 90 acres for the extension, the associated runway protection zone and relocate the road to accommodate the runway and zone.
