James Gary Curtis

A graveside service with full military honors for James Gary Curtis, 61, of Athens was Friday, May 28, at 2 p.m. at Smyrna Cemetery in Moulton with Keith Pepper officiating.
Mr. Curtis died Monday, May 24, 2010, at his residence.
He was born Feb. 11, 1949, in Lawrence County. He was a U.S. Army veteran, of Christian faith and was employed by Wayne Farms in Decatur.
He is survived by his brother, Randall Curtis of Loveland, Colo.; a sister, Charlotte Mosher of Kalamazoo, Mich.; a brother-in-law, John Motes of Elkmont; two sisters-in-law, Margaret Curtis of Hillsboro and Linda Curtis of Hartselle; and numerous nieces and nephews.
