Street festival said to be biggest music event in Madison

The Madison Street Festival is right around the corner and organizers said the musical acts will be the biggest Madison has ever seen.

The entertainment is co-chaired by Jeanne Steadman and Sally Warden.

Steadman said the line-up will be something for all ages to enjoy.

“It’s going to be a fabulous day,” she said. “It’s a wonderful line up all day on three stages.”

Steadman said concert goers can enjoy all type of music from Bluegrass to Rock ‘n’ Roll. Performers will include Crossfire, Dimini Road, local musician Cristina Lynn, Tina Turner revue Dorothy Cole and Elvis revue Don Palmer.

“We are very excited about our stage entertainment at this year’s Street Festival,” said co-chair Sally Warden. “There is a wide variety of performances…dance, puppets, juggling, singing, and of course, some great bands.  All of the entertainment will be upbeat and lively throughout the entire day.”
