Louise W. Bourne; Jan. 4, 2012

Louise W. Bourne, 79, of Madison passed away Wednesday, Jan. 4.

Mrs. Bourne was born in Nauvoo and graduated from Jefferson High School. She was a member of the order of the Eastern Star for more than fifty years, a charter member of the Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America and a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Louise worked in the mortgage business for a number of years and retired with USBI as a planning analyst.

Survivors include her husband, Billy B. Bourne; daughter, Janet Lee Dean (Woodie); grandsons, Michael Dean (Kasey) and Matthew Dean all of Madison; step-children, Joyce Murphy (Brian), Sylvia Douglas and Barry Bourne; and seven step-grandchildren.

Visitation was from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, Jan. 7 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service followed in the chapel with Pastor Ronnie Brewer officiating. Burial was in Valhalla Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Research.
