Election watch parties to be held

Both republicans and democrats are holding watch parties tonight.

A Republican Party election watch party will be held at the Space and Rocket Center in the Davidson Center at 7 p.m.

A Democratic Party election watch party will be held tonight at 7 p.m. at its headquarters located at 2835 North Memorial Parkway in Huntsville. There will be a larger watch party with live jazz music at Improv, an entertainment center, located at 301 Oakwood Ave.

Democratic candidate for U.S. Congress in District 5 of Alabama Charlie Holley will host a watch party at The Presidential Restaurant, located at 2230 Sparkman Drive, at 7 p.m.
