Phillip B. Curl; Feb. 20, 2013

Phillip B. Curl, 48, of Madison, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 20.

Mr. Curl was preceded in death by his father, Edsel V. Curl and his father-in-law, Billy M. Jones, both of Gadsden.

Phillip was a 1983 graduate of Gadsden High School and attended Gadsden State Technical College. He was employed with SCI as a process engineer and was a member of Capshaw Baptist Church.

Survivors include wife, Vicki Jones Curl; son, William Curl of Madison; daughter, Kaitlin Curl of Madison; brother, David Curl (Jennifer) of Jacksonville; sister, Connie Hammond (John) of Quincy, Mass.; mother, Wylodean Curl of Gadsden; mother-in-law, Vivian Jones of Gadsden; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service followed at 11 a.m. with Pastor Zach Terry officiating. Burial was in Madison Memory Gardens.
