Mary Ella Montgomery; June 25, 2013

Mary Ella Montgomery, 80, of Rogersville, formerly of Madison, passed away in peace Tuesday, June 25 at Huntsville Hospital.

She is preceded in death by her parents Leslie and Mary Eleanor Pritchett of Cynthiana, Ind.

Mary Ella is survived by her husband of 62 years, David Montgomery; son, Brent (Jane) Montgomery; and daughter, Tamara (Allan Fegenbush) Montgomery.

She is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Aspen (Dave) Bergmann, Brecken, Tyler, and Christopher Montgomery. Ella was the proud great-grandmother of Savannah, Isabella and newborn Grant.

Mary Ella was born in Cynthiana, Ind. and graduated from Cynthiana School where she was a good student, cheerleader and liked by all. Mary Ella was a member of Rogersville UMC, Shoals Master Gardeners and Huntsville Sail and Power Squadron. She enjoyed the outdoors spending time gardening, fishing, and boating throughout her life.

Services will be held at Rogersville Funeral Home on July 6. Family and friends may arrive at 2 p.m. to visit and share memories. The memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. Another memorial service will be held in Cynthiana, Ind. at a later date.
