September 19, 1931 – November 19, 2013

Carolyn Jo Shedd, age 82, of Madison, passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 19, 2013 at her home.

Mrs. Shedd was born in Dickson, TN on September 19, 1931. She is preceded in death by her husband, Talmadge Millard Shedd; her parents, Leslie and Ruby Cobb; her daughter, Tonie Ann Daniels; and her brother Jerry Cobb.

Mrs. Shedd is survived by her sons, John M. Spann and wife Sheila of Laceys Spring, AL, and Thomas Shedd of Harvest, AL; her granddaughters, Carolyn Wadley, Lisa Spann, and Sarah Shedd; her grandson, Ryan T. Shedd; and her great grandchildren, Troy and Cassidy Wadley.

Funeral services were held on Friday November 22, 2013 in the chapel of Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville with Tim Rice officiating. Burial followed in Huntsville Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to AGAPE of Huntsville or to the charity of your choice.
