Brown Bag Lunch to feature education consultant, author Jamie Vollmer

MADISON – National education consultant and author Jamie Vollmer will be featured speaker at a Brown Bag Lunch on May 20.Vollmer’s presentation, “The Great Conversation: Schools Can’t Do it Alone,” will run from noon to 1 p.m. at Madison City Schools Central Office, 211 Celtic Drive.

The program is targeted for PTA leaders and school administrators.

Vollmer is the former corporate CEO and executive director of the Iowa Business/Education Roundtable. He now leads an education advocacy firm working with educators, business organizations and education associations to remove obstacles to progress and create schools that unfold the full potential of every child.

“The Chamber of Commerce and Committee of 100 are partnering to bring Vollmer to Huntsville to focus the community’s attention on our common goal for education — academic excellence for our children,” Sonja Griffith said. Griffith is president of Madison City Council of PTAs.
