New Hope, Owens Cross Roads students tour Montgomery

MADISON – Local students recently traveled to Montgomery to discovery real-life lessons about Alabama heritage.

Fourth-graders from New Hope and Owens Cross Roads elementary schools toured the Museum of Alabama located at the Alabama Department of Archives and History in Montgomery.

Representative Ritchie Whorton from Alabama House District 22 met with students and talked with them about his service in the Alabama legislature.
