Korean vets’ luncheon planned

REDSTONE ARSENAL – The Legacy 4 Korean War Veterans Foundation will sponsor its annual luncheon on July 30 to honor Korean War veterans and relatives of deceased veterans.

The luncheon and program at The Summit on Redstone Arsenal will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Gen. Dennis L. Via will be featured speaker.

“We look forward to having your presence and honor our veterans,” spokesperson K.C. Bertling said. Guests are requested to bring photographs and other memorabilia from the Korean War “and share your story with other veterans.”

Legacy 4 Korean War Veterans Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization and was established in January 2011 in honor of Korean War Veterans.

K.C. Bertling is foundation president and founder. Her husband Sam Bertling volunteers as the foundation’s financial advisor.
