MADISON – A new group at Madison Public Library is really ‘cooking.’

The Cookbook Club will meet Aug. 10 at 6:30 p.m. to review its first selection, “The Pioneer Woman – Ree Drummond.” “Check out one of her fabulous cookbooks and try a few recipes,” adult services librarian Amanda Campbell said.

Drummond’s popular cooking show, “The Pioneer Woman,” appears on Food Network. After marrying a cowboy, she lives on a working cattle ranch and prepares succulent meals for her working family. (ThePioneerWoman.com)

Campbell encourages participants to cook one of their favorite dishes that Drummond has publicized and share the dish at the Cookbook Club’s meeting.
