Kids to Love run affects traffic

MADISON – The Kids to Love Foundation’s “Coco for Kids Run” will affect traffic in the Slaughter Road vicinity on Nov. 7.

The 5K and 1-mile fun run will start at 8 a.m. on Castle Drive and proceed north on Slaughter Road to Roy Drive. The route will continue west on Roy Drive to Yancy Road and then turn north on Lenora Drive and turn around at Forest Creek Drive.

Next, the run will return to Yancy Road and proceed north to Slaughter Road. The route then will return to the starting location on Castle Drive.

Madison and Huntsville police departments will assist Kids to Love volunteers with the event in the area of Slaughter Road and Castle Drive. The run will impact city streets in both Madison and Huntsville. The only major roadway impacted will be Slaughter Road between Yancy Road and Roy Drive.

The run will end at 9 a.m., and all roads will be open for regular traffic.
