MADISON – “Victoria” magazine will feature the home of Dr. Marc and Rachel Masterson in its December 2016 issue.

The Dunn-Williams-Masterson Home at 19 Front St. was built circa 1845. Photographers for “Victoria” magazine will visit Madison on Dec. 4 for a photo shoot at the Mastersons’ home.

“‘Victoria’ magazine truly is your grandmother’s magazine in its devotion to enriching the lifestyles of women and nourishing their feminine spirits with reminders of unique appointments in charming homes, precious heritage linens, inviting gardens, delightful recipes and enticing stories of world travels,” Lee Grimes said.

Grimes serves as publicist for Madison Station Historical Preservation Society, which has negotiated with the magazine for two years for the coverage.

“We are absolutely overjoyed to have ‘Victoria’ magazine come to Madison,” Rachel Masterson said. “We certainly welcome them to photograph our home.”

“I hope the Christmas decorations I’m creating will inspire visitors when they visit our Madison Christmas Magic Homes Tour 2015 and cause them to be sure to see the 2016 issue of ‘Victoria,'” Masterson said.

Founded in 1988, “Victoria” has a current readership of more than 175,000 people.

Dr. Marc Masterson is a pediatric dentist. Rachel Masterson has an arts degree, which she applies in decorating the home. The Mastersons have three daughters: Savannah, Caroline and Raegan.

The family “understands their historic roles as they preserve their home’s past and prepare it for future generations,” Grimes said.

“Rachel’s artistic training and refined selections of antique furniture and appointments will find expression through the original Greek Revival style elements to its present Queen Anne-influenced architecture,” Grimes said.

“Madison Living” magazine will feature the Masterson home in its December 2015 issue.

The Masterson home is one of the nine houses on the Madison Christmas Magic Homes Tour 2015 on Dec. 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
