MADISON – In its premiere year, Eagle Rehab Physical Therapy is sponsoring its “Fund Like an Eagle” Fun Run/Walk on Oct. 29 at Bradford Creek Greenway.
The hour-long fun run will start at 10 a.m. “This run/walk will be a casual, fun event so bring your babies, dogs, roller skates … whatever you’d like,” Eagle Rehab owner Stephanie Johnson said. Johnson is a certified physical therapist among her other credentials.
Proceeds from “Fund Like an Eagle” Fun Run/Walk will benefit Chive Charities. “Our very own Josh Arney and Gary Stinnett are Alabama Chapter Chivers,” Johnson said.
Chive Charities, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, strives to motivate a new generation to rally for causes that the public otherwise would forget. Organization leaders state that Chive Charities is currently the most generous community on the Internet.
Chive Nation frequently has earned media recognition for their overwhelming desire and ability to improve lives. The charity has purchased a safe room for a girl with a debilitating illness. Another example of outreach is their help to a quadriplegic solider who served in Afghanistan to build his dream cabin. (chivecharities.org)
To register for the fun run, visit eaglerehabpt.com or Facebook/Eagle Rehab. Include your name, email, telephone number and donation amount. Mail donations to Eagle Rehab PT, 44 Hughes Road, Suite 1050, Madison, AL 35758; write “Chive Charities” in the memo line.
Another payment option is to donate online with PayPal. Use phone number 256-325-5400 for the “Friends and Family” section. “We are so excited to begin this venture,” Johnson said.
Eagle Rehab Physical Therapy offers rehabilitative services to individuals with a variety of concerns for both pediatric and adult populations, from the simple ankle injury to chronic spinal pain. (eaglerehabpt.com) “The heart of this clinic is our physical therapists, chosen for their dedication to patient care, commitment to customer service, clinical knowledge and expertise,” Johnson said.
“Our goal is to be the provider of choice by exceeding your expectations in the physical therapy experience,” Johnson said.
