MADISON – American Legion Post 229 of Madison will lay wreaths on veterans’ gravesites on Dec. 17 at 10 a.m.
“This is an annual event and open to the community,” American Legion Commander Carlos Woods said. “We will meet at the Madison Memory Garden next to Madison City Hall at 100 Hughes Road.”
On Jan. 7, 2017, legionnaires and other volunteer will meet at 10 a.m. at Madison Memory Garden to remove the wreaths.
“Here again, you are invited to come out and participate. Volunteer for both, or help out on one,” he said. ”Come out and provide a helping hand.”
