Numerous summer camps open at James Clemens

MADISON – Summer camps at James Clemens High School will allow young athletes to gain proficiency in a sport or learn about a new game.

Jet Wrestling Camp is open to students in kindergarten through sixth grade on June 5-8. Campers will meet from 6 to 8 p.m. Cost is $75. Contact Kevin Pecor at kspecor@madisoncity.k12.al.us.

Jet Football Camp on June 12 is open to grades K-6. Sessions will meet on the football practice field from 8 a.m. to noon. Cost is $30. To contact Wade Waldrop, email mwwaldrop@madisoncity.k12.al.us.

Jet Track Camp on June 12-15 is open to grades K-8 from 10 a.m. to noon. Students in grades K-4 will meet from 10 a.m. to noon. Grades 5-8 will attend from noon to 2 p.m. Cost: $75. For information, email james.bell@madisoncity.k12.al.us.

Cory Hamrick will lead Jet Baseball Camp on June 19-21 for grades K-8 from 8 a.m. to noon. Cost is $75.00. Campers will practice on the Jet baseball field. For information, email jchamrick@madisoncity.k12.al.us.

Jet Soccer Camp will be held on June 19-23 from nine to 11:30 a.m. Girls and boys entering grades 4-12 can attend. Cost is $75. Campers will practice on the Jet soccer field. Jet Volleyball Camp is open to five-year-olds through eighth-graders on June 26-28 from 8 to 10 a.m. Cost is $75. Sessions will meet in the competition gym. For information, email Amanda Smith at ajsmith@madisoncity.k12.al.us.

Lady Jet Basketball Camp on June 30 will meet from 10 a.m. to noon. First- through eighth-graders can attend. Cost is $30. For information, email atdeline@madisoncity.k12.al.us.

After school starts, Jet Youth Cheer Camp will meet on Sept. 16 from 9 a.m. to noon in the gym. Cost is $35. Deadline to register is Sept. 6. For information, email aldennis@madisoncity.k12.al.us. Also, campers will cheer at a Jets football game.
