Matt Curtis Real Estate reaches No. 2 for entire state

MADISON – Matt Curtis Real Estate has been named one of America’s most productive sales associates as a part of the study, “REAL Trends America’s Best Real Estate Agents.”

REAL Trends, sponsored by Zillow Group, researched the newly issued report that included the ranking of Matt Curtis as the No. 2 agency for the state of Alabama. The basis of this ranking was sales volume in this area.

“REAL Trends America’s Best Real Estate Agents” ranked more than 12,600 residential real estate professionals solely based on their excellence in real estate sales during calendar year 2016. A third-party group independently verified all production numbers to ensure accuracy and report integrity.

“This group of highly successful real estate sales agents represents less than one percent of all real estate practitioners in the United States,” Steve Murray said. Murray is publisher of “REAL Trends America’s Best Real Estate Agents” and president of REAL Trends.

To qualify for inclusion in the list, an individual agent had to close a minimum of 50 transaction sides or $20 million in sales volume in 2016. For real estate agent teams, the minimum was 75 transaction sides or $30 million in closed sales volume.

“The average residential real estate agent in the United States closed 8.6 transaction sides in 2016 and had less than $1.3 million in sales,” Murray said. “To say that the Matt Curtis Real Estate team is an exceptional sales team is an understatement. To attain this level of sales is truly outstanding.”

“We are also pleased that two of the nation’s most prominent online real estate websites, Trulia and Zillow, have partnered with REAL Trends to bring a superior level of customer exposure of these sales agents’ performance,” Murray said.

“We do real estate differently at Matt Curtis Real Estate. The traditional model of one agent who does everything does not result in the level of service and expertise we believe today’s sophisticated buyers and sellers deserve,” Curtis said.

“This team approach has helped us grow over 1,000 percent over the last six years, and our clients have made us the No. 1 reviewed real estate team in Alabama,” Curtis said.

REAL Trends is a privately held, Colorado-based publishing, consulting and communications company specializing in the residential brokerage and housing industries. For more information, visit realtrends.com.
