Three James Clemens Softball Athletes Sign Scholarships

Three James Clemens Softball Athletes Sign Scholarships

Ashlyn Dougherty (2B-SS, 5-6, 140) chose Central Alabama Community College. She batted .287 with 31 RBIs over the course of the last two seasons. She posted 41 hits, 33 of which were singles and six homers while posting a .339 on base average. Ariana Hill (C-3B-SS, 5-4, 145) will play at Chattanooga State Community College after batting .468 with 10 homeruns and 29 RBIs over the last two seasons. She also had a .577 on base average and a .866 slugging percentage in 48 games played. Emma Young (2B-3B, 5-3, 110) signed with Calhoun Community College after three years leading up to her senior 2021 season. She played in 95 games, batted .260 with 53 singles among her 57 hits. She stole 37 bases and scored 54 runs.
