Several Make Class 7A Region 4 All-Region Football Selections
Local players representing local schools were plentiful in the listing of the Class 7A, Region 4 All-Region Football Teams recently named.

Several Make Class 7A Region 4 All-Region Football Selections

MADISON- Local players representing local schools were plentiful in the listing of the Class 7A, Region 4 All-Region Football Teams recently named.

A total of 30 players from the three local schools made it to the All-Region selections with Sparkman, 6-5 on the 2020 season, leading the way with 11 players chosen among the first and second teams and honorable mention divisions. James Clemens (8-3) had 10 while Bob Jones (3-7) nine named to the elite listings.

The Class 7A, Region 4 All-Region selections included:

First Team:

Bob Jones- Drew Lawson, OL, Sr., 6-3, 300, Brian Vaughn, DL, Sr., 6-3, 240, K.J. Fields, WR, So., 6-0, 180.

James Clemens- Manny Sanders, WR, Sr., 5-10, 170, Gio Lopez, QB, So., 5-10, 180, Jamal Mayers, DB, So., 5-10, 170, Edgerrin Watson, DL, Jr., 6-2, 275.

Sparkman- Tyler Vickery, LB, Sr., 6-1, 195, KaRon White, DL, Sr., 6-2, 280, Tyeus Clemens, DL,, Sr., 6-4, 250, Caleb Ransaw, DB, Sr., 6-0, 180.

Second Team:

Bob Jones- D.J. Davenport, RB, Jr., 6-0, 185, Keyshawn Feagins, DB, Sr., 6-0, 175.

James Clemens- Jaylin Grigsby, LB, Sr., 6-1, 205, Chance Starling, LB, Sr., 5-11, 200, Jacob Boyd, DL, Sr., 6-3, 215.

Sparkman- Nick Sawyer, QB, Sr., 6-0, 165, Shawn Sellers, OL, Sr., 6-0, 230, Adrian Readus, DB, Sr., 6-2, 195.

Honorable Mention:

Bob Jones- Rowan Jones, RB, So., 5-9, 185, Maddox Sunderman, OL, So., 6-3, 275, Joseph Wheat, K, Jr., 5-9, 190, Miles Humes, WR, Sr., 5-10, 180.

James Clemens- Micah Pettus, OL, Sr., 6-7, 310, Aaron Rowe, K, Jr., 5-10, 180, Connor Cantrell, QB, Sr., 5-10, 180.

Sparkman- Joseph Fortson, DB, Sr., 6-0, 180, Jaleel Birdsong, LB, Jr., 6-3, 230, Kenny Hall, DB, Jr., 5-10, 170, Terrant Young, OL, Jr., 6-2, 260.

Several of the All-Region selections have signed college scholarships led by Micah Pettus of James Clemens who signed with Ole Miss, and Sparkman seniors KaRon White who signed with Appalachian State and Tyeus Clemons who inked with Boston College.
