HuntsvilleCon to bring comic book legends, wrestling and tv actors to new convention on June 25

A new annual event is being added to the area this month. HuntsvilleCon Annual Comic Book Convention & Pop Culture event will debut on Saturday, June 25, at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Huntsville.

According to statement by the event’s promoter, HuntsvilleCon strives to be Alabama’s best and truest comic con featuring fandoms of multiple genres.” As long-time fans of comic books, toys, pop-culture, cosplay, animation, horror, sci-fi and fantasy, the promoter said they want to bring that style event to the Huntsville area.

The show will feature over 100 vendors that cater to a wide-spectrum of interests, including comic books, magazines, toys, games, movies, television, anime, manga, wrestling, cosplay, artwork, sketches, apparel and more. In addition, a roster of comic industry professionals and fandom-related celebrities will be in attendance for attendees to meet  and greet.

  • Huge Pokemon Card Tournament & Dungeons & Dragons
  • New Show Feature: Sports Card Area to the Show
  • Darth Vader, R2-D2- StormTroopers appearing from Legion 501st & Rebel Legion
  • Mandalorian Mercs
  • LEGO Group of Knoxville
  • Local Cosplayer Groups
  • Huge Cosplay Contest – 4:00pm
  • Super Smash Bros Ultimate Video Game Tournament 1:00pm
