Storyteller Tour coming to Madison tonight
MADISON – Few artists have been more influential in defining Christian contemporary music than Petra and WhiteHeart, so fans will likely jump out of their skins when they hear that John Schlitt, lead singer of Petra, and Billy Smiley, guitarist, singer, and founder of WhiteHeart, are bringing their StoryTeller Tour with special guest Jason Fowler to Madison this month. A special benefit concert will be held on July 22 at CrossPointe Church, 78 Hughes Road across from the Hogan Family YMCA.
The concert benefits Trideum Foundation’s Grounds for Home, an effort to connect nonprofit organizations, churches, and businesses in a way that empowers, encourages, and inspires faith-based outreach. You can read more about it at www.trideumfoundation.com.
The concert starts at 7 p.m., a non-profit fair will be held prior to the concert starting at 4 p.m. Food trucks will also be available. During the concert, the acoustic trio will feature #1 hits, new music, and a lifetime of stories.
