Huntsville City Football Club to continue first homestand at Joe Davis Stadium

HUNTSVILLE – Huntsville City Football Club will continue its first ever homestand at the Wicks Family Field at Joe Davis Stadium when it hosts New York Red Bulls 2 at 7 p.m. tonight, May 26. The match is the second of four-straight home games.

Season ticket memberships for Huntsville’s inaugural season at the Wicks Family Field at Joe Davis Stadium are still available at www.mlsnextpro.com/huntsvillecityfc/tickets. So far, more than 3,000 season tickets have been purchased for this season.

Tonight, soul singer Dani Sings will perform the national anthem.

Huntsville City Football Club will honor community members and organizations making a difference in our city at every home match. Tonight, Section 256, a special section in the stadium dedicated to celebrating our community, will host guests from the AshKiran Teen Foundation. Veteran First Lieutenant Kumcha “KC” Bertling of the South Korea Army Reserve will be honored with the Landers McLarty Chevrolet Military Salute.

On Wednesday, Huntsville City FC Head Coach Jack Collison previewed the match against Red Bulls 2. Coach Collison talked about the momentum the crowd at Wicks Family Field at Joe Davis Stadium brings, the intensity the players have during training, and the challenges Red Bulls 2 bring.

Huntsville City FC (1W-4L-3D, 3SOW, 9 pts.), currently in eleventh place in the Eastern Conference, won its first match of the season in its last game out against Crown Legacy on May 19. After going down within the first five minutes, Jony Bolaños equalized just before halftime. Azaad Liadi scored the winner for Huntsville in the second half.

Fans who can’t make it out to Joe Davis Stadium for the inaugural home match can enjoy the action on the MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV App.
