Madison Chamber of Commerce to kick off “Hot Cocoa Stroll” this Friday

MADISON – The holiday season is here, and the Madison Chamber of Commerce is inviting the community to join the city’s first-ever Hot Cocoa Stroll. Presented by Investor’s Resource, the Hot Cocoa Stroll starts on Friday, November 3, and continues throughout the entire month of November.

Shoppers who spend more than $25 at participating retail locations will be entered to win not one but two prizes – the “Staycation Prize” (Trash Pandas Holiday Light Show tickets and more) and the “Getaway Prize” ($500 Breeze Airways airline voucher).

“This premier holiday shopping event brings together Madison Chamber retail members and the Madison community for a great reason to keep your dollars local. The Madison Chamber of Commerce is excited about this exciting initiative to help promote local shopping this holiday season,” said Madison Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Michelle Epling.

Investor’s Resource Owner Shari Burnum added, “As a local business owner in the city of Madison, we are proud to support this community-wide event which supports keeping our dollars local this holiday season! Shopping local and giving our residents a chance to win some wonderful holiday getaway packages is the best way to go shopping this holiday season.”

Registration for the “Staycation Prize” and “Getaway Prize” ends on November 30th. Entries will be drawn during the 1st week of December and announced on the Madison Chamber’s social media.

And, if you are wondering, hot cocoa is involved. Each participating business has plenty of hot chocolate on hand for customer.
