BJ’s Wholesale Club opens Friday in Town Madison

MADISON – Alabama’s first BJ’s Wholesale Club opens in Town Madison this Friday. The New England-based wholesale club is bringing its 25% off average grocery prices and its savings at the gas pump to Madison. The club will make Alabama the chain’s twentieth state.

The club carries a wide variety of name-brand products and two in-house brands for everything from household goods to electronics and furniture to apparel and fresh produce, and more. BJ’s also features a full-service deli and an extensive fresh produce section.

“We’re a membership club, but you can do your weekly grocery shopping with us,” Briana Keene, Senior Manager of External Communications for BJ’s Wholesale Club, explained.

In addition to a convenient selection of products, BJ’s offers a number of convenient services, including same-day delivery, ship-to-home, free pickup, and ExpressPay which allows members to skip the checkout line by scanning items and paying through the app.

The grand opening will take place this Friday at 8 a.m. at 165 Graphics Drive. Memberships start at $55 for one year.
