Applications open for 2025 Madison Visionary Awards

MADISON – Madison Visionary Partners or MVP is accepting applications for the third annual Madison Visionary Awards.

As a community nonprofit organization, MVP exists to inspire giving and to bring together people, local government and resources to enrich the quality of life for Madison residents. The MVP Awards seek to honor the individuals who make this community an inviting place to work, live and play.

This community-building event is also MVP’s signature fundraiser, which allows the organization to make a larger impact in enriching quality of life.

Nominations are open through Jan. 3, 2025. An awards luncheon is scheduled for March 27, 2025, at 11:30 a.m.

Categories are open to recognize the exceptional contributions from Youth Volunteer of the Year, Community Volunteer of the Year, Philanthropic Businessperson of the Year and Madison Visionary of the Year. For more information and to nominate a possible recipient of the award, visit mvpmadison.org/visionaryawards.

The nominees must satisfy several guidelines for the awards:

• The nominee must live, work or both in the City of Madison.

• The nominee must complete volunteer work that directly impacts Madison’s positive lifestyles.

• Activities listed on the nomination form cannot be part of the nominee’s job description or duties. The nominee cannot receive any monetary or personal benefits from their involvement.

• The nominee cannot serve as a current board member of Madison Visionary Partners.

• The Youth Volunteer of the Year can be 21 years old or younger. If younger than 18 years old, the nominee must have a parent or guardian’s permission to participate.

• A nominee for Philanthropic Businessperson of the Year does not have to be located in Madison. This person should demonstrate a direct impact on the City of Madison through giving, volunteerism or both. The nomination should include a contact name of the business.
