Applications process opens for toBE Fund Scholarships at UAH for STEM studies
MADISON – The application process is open now for ‘Round 2’ of the toBE Fund Scholarships and Grants at the University of Alabama in Huntsville or UAH.
“The toBE Fund is driven by a mission to empower individuals in STEM, embodying the belief that everyone deserves the freedom ‘to BE’ whatever they aspire to — skilled, ambitious, strong, empowered, successful and other qualities,” Rigved P. Joshi said.
Joshi works as UAH Assistant Vice President – Innovation & Entrepreneurship. He is Director of the Invention to Innovation Center or I2C at UAH.
Joshi realizes that students will ask, ‘What’s in it for me?’ Joshi quickly answered that question and said the benefits include “financial support for college, financial support to enhance your skills, opportunities to pursue certifications and training programs, and empowerment to thrive in the tech industry.”

The toBE Fund is dedicated to creating pathways for aspiring innovators, fostering careers in STEM and building a more inclusive and accessible future for all individuals.

Designed to inspire and motivate the next generation of innovators, these scholarships aim to remove barriers and open doors for students aspiring to build impactful careers in technology and related fields,” Joshi said.
