Huntsville Botanical Garden to host Wedding Expo Feb. 22

HUNTSVILLE – Whether you are starting your wedding planning journey, or you are tying up loose ends before the big day, Huntsville Botanical Garden (HBG) wants you to say “I do!” to attending the fourth annual Wedding Expo hosted at the Garden on Sunday, Feb. 22, from noon-4 p.m.

Attendees will be able to discover everything essential for planning a wedding, all in one place, up close and in person. The event will take place indoors across three of the Garden’s stunning wedding venues, including the Isenberg Grand Hall, the Conservatory, and the Carriage House. Tickets also include full-day access to the Garden and free parking.

“We want to make wedding planning as easy as possible by offering a variety of vendors all in place at one time,” said Visitor Programs Coordinator Sharon Singletary. “The Expo will give guests an opportunity to chat with the area’s most talented wedding professionals as they taste delicious cakes, see beautiful flowers, find amazing decor, and discover solutions for all their planning needs.”

Guests are encouraged to try samples, ask questions directly of vendors, and leave with tons of wedding planning swag.

Guests can expect to:

• Meet the experts: Connect with top wedding professionals from across the region, including caterers, florists, planners, photographers, DJs, décor designers, and more—each ready to help bring a unique vision to life.

• Tastings and samples: Delicious bites, sweet treats, and refreshing sips from exceptional catering partners will be available for sampling. Guests can explore menu ideas, presentation options, and flavors that will make the reception unforgettable.

• Door prizes and exclusive offers: Exciting giveaways will happen throughout the day, from beauty and wellness packages to event discounts and vendor specials available only to Expo attendees. Selected winners must be present at the Expo.

• Beauty and style showcase: Talented stylists and makeup artists will be on hand to provide services that make every bride feel confident and radiant on her wedding day.

• Music and atmosphere: Guests will enjoy tunes throughout the afternoon provided by Metropolitan DJ—because every great celebration starts with the perfect soundtrack.

• Décor and inspiration: Beautifully curated wedding displays featuring floral artistry, tablescapes, and décor ideas will inspire dream celebrations.

• Garden venue tours: Guests can participate in guided tours of the Garden’s stunning ceremony and reception spaces, including the Isenberg Grand Hall, the charming Carriage House, and lush outdoor garden settings. The Garden’s knowledgeable staff will be available to answer questions.

Singletary explained this kind of event can help take the burden off the bride and groom for searching out reputable wedding professionals. It can also provide a fun bonding experience for those involved in planning a wedding.

“Planning a wedding can be pretty stressful, and our event has been carefully curated to offer the area’s best vendors, providing plenty of variety but without an overwhelming number of choices and crowds,” said Singletary. “The Expo is a perfect way to vet potential vendors for your big day, and it can be a lot of fun crossing things off your ‘to-do’ list with your one special someone or your entire entourage.”

Advance tickets are $25 for HBG members and $30 for non-members and can be purchased at hsvbg.org/calendar- event/wedding-expo/. The price increases to $30 for HBG members and $35 for non-members who wait to purchase at the door.

This event is rain or shine and all ticket sales are final. Ticket proceeds support the Garden’s nonprofit mission to connect people to plants to improve quality of life in our region.
