Jill Butler and Damon Lares
State Sen. and Mrs. Tom Butler of Madison announce the engagement of their daughter, Jill Kimberly Butler, to Damon Kennedy Lares, son of Evelyn Lares of Minneapolis, Minn., and Terry Kennedy-Lares of Hastings, Minn.
Miss Butler is a 1996 graduate of Bob Jones High School. She graduated from Athens State University in 2001. She is employed by the Madison County Board of Education as a third grade teacher.
Mr. Lares graduated in 1994 from Farmington High School. He attended North Central University in Minneapolis and completed Masters Commission in 1999 in South Bend, Ind. He is employed by Calhoun Community College.
The wedding will be held on March 22 at First Baptist Church Chapel in Huntsville.
