Bob Jones students to put on two plays
The Bob Jones High School Drama Department’s advanced drama students will perform two children’s plays Saturday Oct. 16 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 17 at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $3 for students and $5 for adults and will be available before the performance at the school’s box office in the Zompa Auditorium.
The advanced drama class’s production is “The Suessification of Romeo and Juliet.”
Drama Fest, which will be Nov. 4, is an event that features all Bob Jones drama students. Starting at 6 p.m., the students will perform their individual event competition pieces in various rooms around the auditorium wing of the building.
Beginning, intermediate, advanced and advanced production drama will all take part in the individual events portion of the night. When they are done, everyone will convene in the auditorium around 7:30 p.m. for the advanced production drama class’ presentation “Radium Cure for the Broken Hearted,” a one-act play written by B. Dwayne Craft, director of the theater department. Tickets are $5.
