Severe weather expected for Tuesday

The threat of severe weather will extend through Tuesday as another line of strong thunderstorms will move through the area.

Heavy rains are expected in the morning hours Tuesday, and there is an increasing possibility of large hail, damaging winds and tornadoes before  10 a.m.

Once the cold front passes through the area, temperatures are expected to plummet.

The high Tuesday is expected to reach 59 in the morning hours and then dip to 30 in the evening.

Lows are expected to reach 29 Wednesday evening.
