Jack G. Reed; Jan. 10, 2011

Jack G. Reed, 75, of Huntsville passed away Monday, Jan. 10. Mr. Reed loved his family and his dog, Murphy. He enjoyed the beach, flea markets and Alabama football. Mr. Reed was preceded in death by his father, his sister and one great-granddaughter.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda Reed; sons, Rick Reed (Kim), Moulton, Scott Reed ( Jeil), Gulf Shores; daughters,Gina Mills (Allen), Decatur, Shana Finnerty (Todd), Huntsville; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; mother, Jessie Reed, Moulton; brothers, Mack Reed (Donna), Moulton, Bud Reed (Joann), Cullman; sisters, Jill Burks and Jo Dunlap (Chuck), Moulton.

Visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14, at Moulton Memory Gardens with the Rev. William Simmons officiating. Laughlin Service Funeral Home is assisting the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Amedisys Hospice of Brownsboro, 5767 Cove Commons Dr. S.E. Suite A Brownsboro 35741.
