Bob Jones students win big in medical competition
Bob Jones Sarah Paulett and Autumn Azizian won first place in the EMT Technician division in the Students of America Leadership competition.

Two Bob Jones High School students, Autumn Azizian and Sarah Paulett, received first place in the Emergency Medical Technician division in a recent Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA) Leadership competition.
Fourteen select students from Bob Jones High School attended the March 22 and 23 competition, which gathered more than 750 Health Science and Biomedical students throughout the state.
Other winners were HOSA State Leadership Conference included Raymond Lopez and Diego Roman who achieved second place in the Public Health Emergency Preparedness category.
Students Patrick Buszuka, Wes Hess, Melissa Hernandez and Zack Wroblewski won third place on the Medical Debate team.
Julia Schneider, president of the the Bob Jones HOSA chapter, placed fourth in the Extemporaneous Health Poster category.
Additional BJHS students who participated in the conference included Taylor Harrold (Medical Terminology), Hannah Osterndorf and Saadia Miran (Career Health Display),Carl Smith and Ryan Lopez (conference attendees).
These top winners are eligible to compete in the upcoming National HOSA Convention & Competition to be held this summer in Anaheim, Calif.
Upcoming fundraising activities are planned including sales of personalized decals and coffee cups.
