Gertrude Lowery Brazelton; May 20, 2011

Gertrude Lowery Brazelton of Madison passed away Friday, May 20 in her home at Morningside.

Mrs. Brazelton was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a retired bookkeeper from Bragg’s Furniture Company and a member of Madison United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, S. A. Brazelton.

Survivors include daughters, Mary Jo Brazelton, of Huntsville, and Jean Noblitt and husband, Ronnie, of Madison; grandchildren, Lauren Brazelton Justice and husband, Robert, of Huntsville and Jason Douglas Brazelton and wife, Lori, of Burlington, Vt.; and brother Otis Lowrey, of Madison.

Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 24 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will be immediately following at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Larry Wright officiating. Burial will be in Madison City Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Madison United Methodist Church, 127 Church Street, Madison, Alabama, 35758.
