Downtown Rescue Mission opens in Madison

The Downtown Rescue Mission has opened a store in Madison.

This is the sixth thrift store the DRM has opened.

The grand opening celebration will be Friday and Saturday, Sept. 16 and 17.

The grand opening ceremony with ribbon cutting will be at 10:45 a.m. Friday, with a free lunch both days from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The lunch will consist of hamburgers, hot dogs, potato chips, cake and soft drinks. The store will also provide customers with 50 percent off merchandise, with the exclusion of brand new mattresses and socks and giveaways throughout each day.

The DRM in Madison is located at 8006 Old Madison Pike, Suite 10
