Emma L. Davis; Sept. 29, 2011

Emma L. Davis, age 92, of Huntsville, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 29 at Madison Manor Nursing Home in Madison.

A graveside service was held on Monday, Oct. 3 at 2 pm at Maple Hill Cemetery with Buddy Alverson officiating. The family received friends on that day from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home.

Miss Davis was born on April 19, 1919 in Elora, Tenn. to Elzie and Sarah Davis.

She was a member of Jackson Way Baptist Church of Huntsville.

Miss Davis is survived by her son, Glenn Allen Davis of Huntsville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville is assisting the family.
