Patricia P. Veazey; Nov. 23, 2011

Patricia P. Veazey, 55, of Columbus, Miss., formerly of Madison, passed away Wednesday Nov. 23 at her residence.

Funeral services were Friday, Nov. 25 at 2 p.m. at Faith Chapel Church with Pastor Joel McGraw officiating. Visitation was one hour prior to the service. Burial followed at Huntsville Memory Gardens.

Mrs. Veazey was born in Salinas, Calif. on April 22, 1956 to Jack & Marie Bishop Proffitt.

She was preceded in death by her husband Douglas Veazey and son Phillip Holt.

She is survived by children Patrick Holt (Heather Nash) of Columbus, Miss. and Madison Holt; mother and stepfather Winston & Marie Hollingsworth; father Jack Proffitt; brothers Mike Proffitt (Shannon) and Steve Proffitt (Glenda); sisters Fran Holley (Dewayne) and Jackie Miller (Brett); and grandchildren Phillip Holt, Isabella Holt & Charlotte Holt.
