Morning wreck slows traffic on Zierdt Rd

HEMSI preparing to transport victim of crash

Shortly after 9 a.m. a woman driving a black BMW lost control and crashed on Zierdt Road near Asbury Woods Dr.  Huntsville Fire Rescue, Hemsi, and Huntsville Police all responded. The woman was extricated very swiftly by the firefighters with the assistance of Hemsi paramedics. She was transported to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.
