JCHS principal named superintendent of Jackson County Schools

James Clemens High Principal Dr. John Green has been named superintendent of Jackson County Schools in Georgia.

Green will begin his new role July 1.

“He certainly had the experience we were looking for,” said board chairperson Lynn Massey-Wheeler. “He has great interpersonal skills, he is a wonderful communicator, he knows finance and curriculum and he has strong leadership skills. Those are things we were looking for. We’re delighted to have him come and be our next superintendent.”
