Irene R. Adams; May 26, 2012

Irene R. Adams, 72, of Madison went home to be with her Savior on Saturday, May 26.

She was born Oct. 19, 1939, in Staten Island, N.Y. She was surrounded by her loved ones as she peacefully passed on to glory.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Martha Klein; siblings, George Jr. Klein, Emma E. Bowman; and son, Glenn Sprock.

She is survived by eight siblings; her loving daughters and sons-in-law, Pamela Peters and Jeff, Elizabeth Sprock, Sarah Perkins and Don and Ron Howard Sr.; grandchildren, Heather, Steven, Jason, Daniel, Justin, Zachary, Nicole and Jacob; and five great-grandchildren.

Irene’s wishes were honored to donate her body to U.A.B Anatomical Donor Program in hopes of furthering medical science.

There will be no service at this time. U.A.B will hold a memorial service in a year.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Kidney Foundation or the American Cancer Society .
