Sydney Elise Hicks was born Oct. 2, 2012 at Crestwood Medical Center to Shareen and Keith Hicks of Atlanta, Ga.

She weighed six pounds one ounce and measured 17 inches. Grandparents are Rebecca Gilliard of Atlanta, Ga.; Johnny Hicks of Jacksonville; Moses Randolph of Orangeburg, S.C.; and the late Zenobia Hicks of Jacksonville.

Sydney has two siblings, Chasidy Hicks, 20, and Audree Hicks, 18.
