Donna Darlene Garrett; Dec. 13, 2012

Donna Darlene Garrett, 70 passed away peacefully in her sleep, Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012.

Darlene was a retired, loving, dedicated LPN.

She was preceded in death by her husband Richard H. Garrett, Jr.; and two sons, Donald R. Garrett and Jerry A. Garrett both of Mexico, Missouri.

Survivors include three sisters, Marsha Harp of Ashville, Lucille Lynn of Macon, Ga., and Connie Wharton of Madison; two daughters, Donna Garrett of Madison, and Sherri Garrett of Hunnewell, Mo.; one daughter-in-law, Fanny M. Garrett; and two sons-in-law, Luke Salinas and David W. House; 11 grandchildren, Jenney Baker, Mindy Garrett, Bryan Benton, Joe Cloven, Jennifer David, Becky Garrett, Lisa Lewis, Nichole Murphy, Hazel Benton, Richard Larue, Tamera Larue, and Chelsea Larue. She has 27 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service took place at the Madison Chapel Funeral Home in Madison on Sunday, Dec. 16 at 2 p.m. with family presence beginning at 1 p.m. A funeral service was held at the Arnold Funeral Home in Mexico, Mo.
