MPD still investigating early morning hit-and-run

MADISON — Madison Police are still looking for a car that drove a cyclist off the road early Monday morning.

The cyclist was traveling in the Madison Blvd.area around Hughes Road and Research Blvd. section. Madison Police said the car was heading westbound around 3:30 a.m. and hit the cyclist and continued moving on.

The victim suffered lacerations, broken bones and was transferred to Huntsville Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police do not the make or year of the vehicle however the vehicle is believed to have damage to the left front and possible damage to the windshield.
