The International Services Council of Alabama and the University of Alabama in Huntsville collaborated for the visit by high schools students from Belize, Honduras, Nicaragua and El Salvador. The youth are affiliated with the Central America Youth Ambassadors (CAYA) program.

“ISC’s partner on this project is UAH,” ISC Executive Director Jacqui Shipe said. “UAH has been the hosting organization for the past two years under the direction of Dr. John Pottenger.”

The students visited Columbia High School, Manna House, the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute, U.S. Space & Rocket Center and UAH.
