James Clemens collects potatoes, beans to ‘Beat Hunger’

MADISON – The “Beat Hunger” food drive at James Clemens High School will help to feed individuals at the Downtown Rescue Mission.

The varsity competition cheerleaders, assisted by the Student Government Association, at James Clemens are asking residents to donate canned green beans and instant potatoes. The “Beat Hunger” drive will continue until Oct. 25.

The Jets Cheer Squad has 28 members from all four classes at James Clemens. All food collected will go to the Downtown Rescue Mission in Huntsville.
