Eugenia “Peggy” Smith Green October 15, 2013

Eugenia “Peggy” Smith Green, 81 of Madison passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2013.  She is preceded in death by her husband; William Guy Green, Mother; Lilian Bagby Smith, Father; W. Eugene Smith, Brother; Walton Bagby Smith.  Mrs. Green is survived by 3 Sons; David Guy Green, Bruce Walton Green and Andrew William Green, 1 Daughter; Sarah Lilian Green, 6 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.  Mrs. Green graduated from the University of Central Missouri with a degree in Education.  She later also received a Master’s in Guidance and Counseling from Athens College.  Visitation was held at Madison Chapel Funeral Home on Thursday, October 17th.  Burial was at Huntsville Memory Gardens.  The family requests you make donations to New Haven Preservation Society, 904 Maupin Avenue, New Haven, MO 63068 or your favorite charity.
