Central Office to host Parent Resource Fair on Tuesday

MADISON – Madison City Schools is sponsoring a Parent Resource Fair to familiarize residents with available support services.

The fair will be held at the Central Office, 211 Celtic Drive on April 15 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Employees with service providers will staff booths and explain career planning, employment assistance, tutorial help, after-school programs and autism support services. Others will discuss legal assistance, adoption or foster care, military family benefits and vision care.

Health professionals will attend to answer questions about crisis and mental health services, substance abuse programs, health, fitness, nutrition and rehabilitation services.

Admission is free. For more information, call school social worker Brenda Vactor at 256-348-5538.
