MADISON – Downtown Madison has a new merchant. Tiny Hearts Boutique has opened in Clay House at 16 Main St.

Owners Lacey Simpson and Kiley Cassady both live and shop in Madison and wanted to bring another option for Madison and surrounding areas to find beautiful children’s clothing and accessories.

“The historic Clay House is a well known landmark for this area, so we’re easy to find and right in the middle of all the action,” Simpson said. “Old Town Madison is growing. We’re thrilled to be a small part of that growth.”

As mothers of young children, Simpson and Cassady constantly search for name-brand clothing with good price tags. “We both felt limited as far as what Huntsville had to offer and felt we could take our love for our children and clothing and combine them to create something great,” Simpson said.

They understand what mothers (and grandmothers) want in children’s clothing. “We love serving our customers and hope we make their shopping experience enjoyable in a relaxed environment,” Simpson said. “This is our first time owning a business. We’re definitely learning as we go.”

Tiny Hearts Boutique offers a good variety, including LeZaMe, Zuccini, Feltman Brothers, Peaches ‘n Cream, Molly & Millie, Mud Pie and LaJenns. For shoes, they carry Livie & Luca, Sun San and introducing Mini Melissa’s this spring.

Girls’ sizes range from 3 months to 6X, boys from 3 months to 4T. “We offer classic styles, including smocked items and some trendier items,” she said.

A Hoover native, Lacey is married to Jason Simpson, chief meteorologist at WHNT 19. Their children are Walt, 3, Shelby, 19 months, and Brody, due in May.

Kiley grew up in Hartford, Ala. She and husband Matthew Cassady, a maintenance engineer for the U.S. Army, have a daughter, two-year-old Kinleigh.

Store hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
