MADISON – Ken Creel will present the “Busting Environmental Myths!” workshop on March 17 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Madison County Extension Office, 819 Cook Ave. in Huntsville.

Creel is the regional extension agent with the Alabama Cooperative Extension System. During the workshop, he will apply his experience to topics such as genetically modified foods/organisms (GMO) and the impacts of pesticides and weed killers on people and our environment.

“Don’t believe everything you read on the Internet,” Master Gardener Sue Khoury said. “Come listen to some scientific facts and prepare to be surprised.”

The workshop is free and open to the public. Pre-registration is required. To pre-register, visit mginfo.org.
