Man arrested for stealing laptops from Intergraph

MADISON – The Madison Police Department made an arrest Aug. 10 of a Somerville man who allegedly stole laptops from the Intergraph Corporation.
According to a release sent Aug. 11 by MPD, Patrick Dewayne Holcomb, 31, of Somerville stole the computers sometime between May and August 2015. Holcomb is described as a contractor working with Intergraph, a large software company located in Madison that moved into its new headquarters in October 2014.
The release also stated that detectives learned that the stolen items were allegedly being sold over the internet.
After authorities served a search warrant on Holcomb in his home in Morgan County, Holcomb was booked into the Madison County Jail on Aug. 10 at around 10:30 a.m. on charges of first-degree theft of property valued greater than $2,500.
Holcomb’s bond was set at $5,000. Court records show he was released from the jail just after 9 p.m. on Aug. 10.
